"Giga-Corporations: Choose a disc to place"

After choosing to play the "Giga-Corporations" card on the Technology board, i received the game instruction: "Achievement Phase: Choose an achievement to claim". The two possible actions available at this point are to click on either of the two Achievement tokens i've previously placed on Achievement cards, one on "Empire" and the other on "Posthumanist". When either is clicked, the game instruction changes to the text "Giga-Corporations: Choose a disc to place" followed by three button options: an Ore production disc, a Food production disc, and a "Cancel" button.

The production columns on my Faction mat are both empty. Clicking on either production button triggers the temporary red warning banner with the text, "You have no discs of that type left." Clicking the "Cancel" button returns me to the game instruction, "Achievement Phase: Choose an achievement to claim".
