You score points with the objective cards, therefore try to put as many objective cards in your decks, this limits your opponents from getting points , it also sets a goal that you and your partner can strive to acheive.

Try having both sides even- points wise.

If possible, your first card should fulfil atleast one of your common objectives so your partner tries to fulfil it next turn.
