INTRODUCTION
As a visitor to Cat Café, you want to make the most of your
visit and that means petting the most cats! You’ll need to
decorate your corner of the cat café, by placing the most
toys, scattering some food, and making some comfortable
resting spots to attract the most cats!
SETUP
1. Give each player a sheet and a pencil. Put the remaining
pencils and the pad back in the box.
2. Place a number of dice in the centre of the table equal to the
number of players +1. Put the remaining dice back in the box.
3. The player who most recently petted a cat becomes the
first player in the first round.

HOW TO PLAY
Each round of Cat Café is played in three phases:
1. Dice Draft
2. Marking Items/Passing
3. Check for Completed Cat Towers
1- DICE DRAFT
1. The first player rolls all the dice in the centre of the table.
2. Starting with the first player, and then in clockwise order,
each player picks one die to keep for that round.
3. After every player has picked a die, there will be one die
remaining in the centre of the table. That die is known as
the Central die.
2- MARKING ITEMS
You and all other players may now simultaneously mark items
on your sheets in accordance with the following rules, or you
may ‘pass’ to gain footprints which can be used in later rounds
to adjust dice values.
AIM OF THE GAME
Each round, the dice are rolled and you
will take turns to choose from the
available dice, combining your chosen
die with the leftover die to mark
enticing items on your sheet. These
items all score points in different
ways and whoever has the most points
at the end of the game wins!

First, choose one of your dice. The value of it determines the
item you will mark:
1. Cat House
2. Ball of Yarn
3. Butterfly Toy
4. Food Bowl
5. Cushion
6. Mouse Toy
The other die value determines the row in which
the item will be marked (shown in the bottom
left of each hex).
You then choose ANY column on your sheet and
mark the item (according to your first die value)
in the corresponding hex (according to your
second die value).
Some hexes are not available to be marked.
Note: These are distinguished by the scratching
post illustration and the lack of a number in
the hex.
When marking an item, you can draw a picture of the item or
write the bold letter which corresponds to the item.
When marking an item, you must use both the value of the
die you chose and the value of the Central Die. One die (your
choice) will determine what item you mark, and the other die
determines where you mark it.
