A mad scientist named Dr Foo has built an unstable time machine, the Omniscience 2000, and is using it to hop between seven great Eras of history, spawning duplicates of himself and tearing open rifts in spacetime.
Those rifts are slowly shredding reality itself. If too many pile up on one Era, it turns into a Vortex, and if the universe accumulates too many Vortexes, everything is destroyed and the players lose together. Yes, the LOOP is a coop game! Standing in Dr Foo’s way is a ragtag squad of Time Agents, you and the other players, armed with a personal deck of quirky "Artifact”.
Each Agent's turn feels like a little adventure of its own. You hop from Era to Era, spending your Energy to move, then dip into you hand of cards to patch up rifts, take down Foo’s duplicates, or scrounge up more energy for later. With every turn that ticks by, Dr Foo grows bolder, spinning off more duplicates and hurling rifts into the timeline, forcing you and your team to stay one step ahead or watch the universe collapse.
Like in most coop games, there is one way to win and multiple ways to lose. Success means the team puts away four sabotaged pieces and therefore save spacetime, closing with a triumphant "K.U.D.O.S!" from headquarters and, well, some XP, but that’s a BGA exclusive... Failure means the Agency's wall of shame gains new names, and the universe quietly ceases to exist. NO PRESSURE… but… EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU!
You’ll have a Designated Instructor accompanying you through the tutorial if you want to get acquainted with how to defeat Dr Foo and his terrible time machine. Otherwise, the first time portal is waiting for you.

The LOOP: Všetko závisí od vás!
Šialený vedec menom Dr. Foo zostrojil nestabilný stroj času s názvom Omniscience 2000 a používa ho na preskakovanie medzi siedmimi veľkými historickými érami, pričom vytvára duplikáty seba samého a otvára trhliny v časopriestore.
Tieto trhliny pomaly trhajú samotnú realitu. Ak sa ich v jednej Ére nahromadí priveľa, zmení sa na Vortex a ak sa vo vesmíre nahromadí priveľa Vortexov, všetko je zničené a hráči prehrajú spolu. Áno, LOOP je kooperatívna hra! Dr. Foovi v ceste stojí rozhádaný tím Časových Agentov, vy a ostatní hráči, vyzbrojení osobným balíčkom svojrázneho „Artefaktu“.
Každý ťah agenta sa cíti ako malé dobrodružstvo. Preskakujete z éry do éry, míňate svoju energiu na pohyb a potom siahate do ruky kariet, aby ste zaplátali trhliny, zlikvidovali Fooove duplikáty alebo si nazbierali viac energie na neskôr. S každým uplynutým ťahom sa Dr. Foo stáva odvážnejším, vytvára ďalšie duplikáty a vrhá trhliny do časovej osi, čo núti vás a váš tím zostať o krok vpred alebo sledovať, ako sa vesmír zrúti.
Ako vo väčšine kooperatívnych hier, existuje jeden spôsob, ako vyhrať, a viacero spôsobov, ako prehrať. Úspech znamená, že tím odloží štyri sabotované figúrky, a tým zachráni časopriestor, čo končí triumfálnym „KUDOS!“ z veliteľstva a, no, aj nejakými XP, ale to je exkluzívne pre BGA... Neúspech znamená, že múr hanby Agentúry získa nové mená a vesmír potichu prestane existovať. ŽIADNY TLAK… ale… VŠETKO ZÁVISÍ OD VÁS!
Ak sa chcete zoznámiť s tým, ako poraziť Dr. Fooa a jeho hrozný stroj času, bude vás sprevádzať určený inštruktor tutoriál. V opačnom prípade na vás čaká portál pre prvé pokusy.
